Merrimac & Main had our first official open house in November 2023, and launched programming in January 2024.

Merrimac & Main is a community center located in a beautiful 100+ year old historic building in downtown Dodgeville.  Sharing space with the Plymouth Congregational UCC Church, this new Center is turning into a welcoming place for all of us to connect, create, learn, grow, heal, and inspire.

In just a few months the new Middle School Programs (baking, sewing, board games, origami, and acrylic painting); twice-weekly yoga classes; and an intellectual lecture series was launched.  We have an office rented out as a workspace, hosted a very successful Open House and Solstice celebration, and have recently had families use this space for their holiday gatherings.  We have done so much, and we are only getting started!! We would love for you to get involved.  This is truly a community effort, and we need your fresh ideas, skills, and connections.
